Welcome to WashLUG

Who We Are

The ‘LUG’ is a gathering place for persons interested in GNU/Linux at the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Community College, and the general public in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area.

Membership to our group is informal, and there is no official membership roll.  You should feel free to drop in and join as you wish.

Meetings:

The Washtenaw Linux Users Group meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, on the WCC campus, most often in the Business Education Building (Winter/Spring 2018 semester).  Click on the appropriate link in the left hand column for meeting topic and room details.  Meetings begin at 8pm.  Please check to be sure that any class that may be meeting before us is finished with the room before entering.

Here is a page to get driving directions to the WCC campus.  A campus map is also available.

The meetings usually run until 10pm or shortly thereafter.  It is customary to then reconvene at the local Steak ‘n Shake restaurant which is located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Carpenter and Ellsworth Roads, approximately 3 miles south of WCC.  The address of Steak ‘n Shake is 4120 Ellsworth Rd.,  here is a link with driving directions.
